Meet the Artist

Gugui is a floral artist and biophilic designer for interiors. Elle is her creative partner, a textile designer with expertise in color psychology. Together they create floral paintings, arrangements, landscapes, and installations that connect us to nature and improve our well-being.

Gugui is a granddaughter of watercolor artists, a daughter of an antiquarian father, and a mother with a gift for decoration. As a child, she grew up influenced by the exquisite sense of beauty. She built a strong attachment to nature at her family farm, surrounded by holm oaks, pine forests, mountains, secret places, and imaginary worlds. As a designer, she traveled through painting, graphics, fashion, interiors, gardening, and landscaping to all versions of Biophilic design.

Her aesthetic is organic and natural, seemingly untidy like an English garden. She follows the flower shapes and lets herself get carried away by their forms, guided by the harmony in nature. She mixes foliage and greenery from the countryside with dried, preserved, and recycled materials. Everything revolves around Nature, the greatest source of inspiration that brings energy to our life.

When you arrive, you'll find her studio is a playground of ideas that pushes you to create and have fun while making beautiful things. She says, "The truth is that we have a great time!". Vamos, let's go.

Explore Madrid

The capital of Spain is world-famous for its architecture, culture, gastronomy, and people. But, let's not forget the sun and sky "de Madrid al Cielo," a phrase Madrilenians say because of the marvelous sunsets they enjoy. You can visit Museo del Prado, the main Spanish national art museum, stroll around Plaza Mayor and Parque del Buen Retiro, enjoy a flamenco show at Corral de la Moreria, or dine at Casa Lucio. With plenty of options to explore, Madrid will make you come alive.

The city is also Gugui's birthplace, giving her many creative, cultural, and educational opportunities. She has created a beautiful studio using second-hand furniture and handmade and recycled pieces. A place to get inspired and play.
