For quite some time, I've been feeling a strong urge to explore Japanese calligraphy further. My grandmother, who studied calligraphy in high school in Japan just after WWII, sparked this interest. Growing up, our family home was adorned with beautiful calligraphy artworks. Despite their beauty, I didn't understand their meaning or their creators. Nevertheless, they served as a constant reminder of my heritage and ancestry.

I'm definitely going to keep studying calligraphy. Thanks to Chikako, I've built a strong foundation that's made my life so much richer. Her guidance has opened up a whole new world of self-expression and cultural exploration for me, and I couldn't be more excited to dive deeper into it.
