We've just returned from four days in Quebec with Marjolein and her husband Robert, our first VAWAA. It was transformative. We completed multiple pieces now displayed in our home, each showcasing a different felting technique. She shared her techniques, many of which she has invented or refined herself. But more importantly, she showed us how to approach felting as an art form not just a craft. The art we made in her studio was so expressive and personal that we both intend to keep working with felt.
