Meet the Artist

Taiom is a Brazilian tattooist and visual artist. He fell in love with tattoo culture at a young age, and has been practicing ever since then. Over the last decade and a half, Taiom has developed his own unique, highly graphic style of tattooing focused on abstract concepts. Inspired by his love of drawing and woodworking, his tattoo techniques include sketch lines, watercolors, fine lines, black work, and detail. He approaches each work like a story helping people create body art that brings something about who they are to life on their skin. Tat a tat!

Explore Brasilia

Brasília was inaugurated in 1960, as the new Capital of Brazil. The city is shaped like an airplane, with two wings (north and south), the body and the cockpit (the congress). You'll discover avant-garde design and modernist architecture at every corner, such as the the National Congress, Cathedral, Presidential Palace, and Legion of Goodwill Temple. Due to its unique and artistic urban planning and modern architecture, designed by Oscar Niemeyer and Lucio Costa, the city is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During your stay, be sure to go for a swim in Parque Nacional de Brasilia and take a peaceful stroll around Paranoá Lake.
