Meet the Artist

Iris is a textile and product designer celebrated for her modular sculptural wearables and objects. Over more than a decade, she has developed a unique, self-taught technique that transforms flat textiles into three-dimensional forms without using stitches or glue. What started as an academic experiment evolved into a quiet rebellion against fast fashion and rigid design conventions.

She uses laser-cutting technology to create puzzle-like modules from durable materials such as vegan leather, neoprene, and scuba fabric. These intricately cut pieces are meticulously hand-assembled into tactile, sculptural accessories—including necklaces, bracelets, earrings—and interior objects that encourage endless reconfiguration and personal expression. Iris calls this meditative and precise process “Craftsmanship 2.0,” which fosters deep focus and thoughtful variation while redefining traditional sewing methods.

Iris is keen to share how textile modularity offers a moment to slow down, connect and play. She welcomes you into her studio to experience the satisfaction of transforming scattered pieces into entirely new forms. It’s a chance to use both hemispheres of the brain, spark your intuitive hand and leave with a piece that continues to evolve after you leave.
