His diverse design background and experiences have given him a deep interest in process design and problem-solving. He is also passionate about sharing his knowledge and loves the element of surprise that comes from interacting with others.
Currently based in Barcelona, Juan is part of a vibrant community of designers and makers, where he shares space and technology while developing his projects. With his passion for craftsmanship and love for sharing knowledge, you'll find inspiration to last a long time.
VAWAA Includes:
- Create a wooden box or small bench.
- Learn the morphology of wood & construction.
- How to design, draft, select wood and prepare.
- Introduction to wood joinery techniques and traditional hand skills.
- Make a box starting from squared stock, cutting joints and bevels.
- Advance to making a small bench by creating a layout from rough lumber, planing/ shaping, and finishing techniques.
- Take a break with delicious and healthy lunches including vegetarian options.
- Visit the Design Museum of Barcelona.
