Meet the Artist

Rosanna is a multidisciplinary designer specializing in silkscreen printing, maximalist patterns, and hand-painted commissions for fashion, costume, interiors, and unique projects. She explored graphics, photography, fine art, and textiles before discovering printmaking as the perfect intersection of her passions. After years designing for iconic fashion houses like Valentino, McQueen, JW Anderson, and Pringle of Scotland, she established her seaside studio in Brighton to craft one-of-a-kind pieces.

Rosanna’s technique is deeply hands-on. She begins with detailed, hand-drawn motifs, which she transforms into traditional repeat patterns for screen printing—drawing inspiration from makers like William Morris—or scales them digitally for larger applications, such as wallpapers and textiles. She is especially drawn to patterns that reinterpret familiar motifs, breathing new life into heritage forms through color, scale, and material.

Her printing experience spans a wide range of materials, from sheer silk chiffon to thick leather, and includes creating repeat lengths for fabric rolls, upcycling garments, and experimenting with unconventional surfaces like latex. Her work also extends to fine art paper, kitchen worktops, mirrors, and hand-painted leather chairs. At the core of her practice is a deep commitment to preserving British craftsmanship.

When you visit Rosanna, expect inky hands, playful experimentation, thoughtful conversation, and maybe even a celebratory cocktail in one of Brighton’s many pub gardens.
