Live Critique & Tips for Creative Success by Classically Trained Artist

Live from Malibu, United States

Have you created artwork in lockdown, or prior, and want an honest critique to take your art to the next level or in a fresh direction? Have you been wondering during this time of isolation and reflection how to build your art career? What comes next?

On Saturday, July 25, at 2:15 PM EDT, join VAWAA Artist Johanna Spinks, a classically trained professional portrait artist with 25 years of experience, whose work hangs in museums, galleries, and private collections all over the world. This 90 minute hands on critique session is a rare and intimate opportunity to show your artwork and ask her anything as she will guide you to the next step in your art journey. We'll also hear about Johanna's own experience, peek at some of her works, and hear her top 10 tips for creative success.

Mentored by eight-time presidential portrait artist Everett Raymond Kinstler N.A., Johanna's style can best be described as classical with a contemporary palette knife twist. However, she paints it all and teaches in a kind, nurturing and uplifting way. Get inspired by what others have created, too, as we'll all learn from each other! Inspiration awaits and all levels are welcome. Limited to 20 participants.

Joining us from a different time zone? Be sure to convert the time.

Those who attend the live session can purchase the recording at an additional fee.
