I'm recently divorced and my traditional family travel plans are a bit disrupted. I'm looking for ways to travel and learn while not feeling "alone in the world." I never meet new people or become immersed in culture and learning when I travel with friends. So I prefer a trip like this. Additionally, as an expressive arts therapist, I'm deeply interested in all things art, ecology, culture, and healing.

Well first, I feel I'm totally fluent in Spanish again because I spoke Spanish at a complex level for seven days straight. I also feel more comfortable using clay in my art therapy practice. And I come away with many insights about process, the somatics of creativity, and ways to approach making with beginners.
