Transforming Tension into Flow Through Mark Making

There's something deeply satisfying and healing about letting art gently flow out of us. VAWAA Artist and painter Clare is back on Sunday, May 24, at 10 AM EDT for another session using the primal activities of drawing and painting, to access our sovereignty. During this 90-minute session, we'll work intuitively and spontaneously to transform tension into flow, coming into deeper, more confident presence, through mark making and forming a figure. We'll exercise self-trust and keep our deep connection with all things vibrantly active. All levels welcome, no experience required.

Joining us from a different time zone? Be sure to convert the time.

What you'll need

A large sheet of paper/ card or canvas, plus a variety of colors (whatever medium you're most comfortable with or most want to explore). If you joined Clare's previous session, feel free to bring your art to continue it.

How to join

We'll be hosting this VAWAA Online on Zoom. We'll send you the link and details to join via email a few hours before it begins.

About Clare

Clare is an artist based in the medieval quarter of a charming Italian town that she brought to worldwide attention through her original cultural activities. Trained in Scotland's two most prestigious art schools, Clare's art is in international collections around the world. She works in both oil and acrylic, and often uses reclaimed surfaces. She interweaves personal and archetypal, working meditatively with color, layers, story and depth of meaning. She has a passionate interest in our immense creative potential; in how we can use art to know ourselves, and thus heal and transform our lives.

Sessions are ticketed to support artists, makers and our small team. If you’re experiencing financial hardship, please reach out. We may have a generous participant who has paid it forward and would ask that you pay the love forward by sharing online sessions with 3 new friends.
