Elizabeth

Lori is wonderful - I wish I could give her more than five stars. We worked each day at her studio table, surrounded by yarns, tools, and Lori’s own art. She is the most generous of teachers. She gave me new technical skills, guidance for designing projects, and shared ways of thinking about art and an artist’s life. She read aloud to me each day from books in her library. In addition to exploring colors and stitches, she shared the beauty of California’s Sonoma wine country. We visited the local yarn store, book store, farmer’s market, and speakeasy. I tasted local wine and we walked outside among the profusion of Spring blooms. I stayed in Lori’s lovely cabana, sleeping with the windows open, listening to frogs at night and birdsong in the morning.
