I had a great time working with Majo! She is an amazing contemporary ceramicist and natural textile artist. I appreciated her artistic mindset and also the tranquility of her studio. Her accommodation is wonderful and cozy – and she makes amazing food too. While visiting I also had the opportunity to visit the town of Valle de Bravo and see an artist (and friend of Majo’s) sing in the local church. Majo and her partner Fer are thoughtful and curious about the world - and are exceptionally kind hosts. I’d highly recommend this experience who’s looking to hone their ceramics, learn about textile dying, and have a calming artistic experience.
