I was looking for an opportunity to travel and learn a new skill. I came across VAWAA and found Anja’s class. I had been looking for a wet felting class for a while and hadn’t been to Slovenia, so I thought it was the perfect thing to do. I was hoping to learn the basics of wet felting so I would have the skills to try doing more at home.

I learned far more than I expected to and as a stained glass artist I will be figuring out ways to work with glass and felt together.
