I had been to Iceland two times prior to this trip and wanted a different experience besides the normal touristy experiences. Iceland is a beautiful place to explore and when I found VAWAA, I thought it would be a great place to create art and meet more of the artists in Iceland. I teach young children, so I knew this would also be a wonderful experience to bring back to my students.

I had such a wonderful learning experience, now I’m thinking of doing more VAWAA when I travel other places. It’s a great way to learn more about a regions’ culture as well as learn a new skill.
