My grandmother and mother were quilters. I however, never learned how to quilt.  I was excited to learn you can make a quilt freestyle without a structured pattern. This made it easy as a beginner. This experienced provided warmth and peace because I got to work with clothing belonging to my loved ones. The quilt I made there is special to me. I learn skills to continue quilting at home.
