I have been studying both weaving and embroidery.  Discovering the unique Cretan technique of embroidery incorporated within the weave structure I was totally excited. And the location!! Crete. I left with an appreciation of Cretan design. I can recreate the process on my own loom. And I am excited to experiment. And have considered another visit in the fall.
